Angels of Hope is offered through Volunteers.
100% of Donations are used
 solely for this work.

When Angels of Hope began in 2006, the Angels were all sent to facilities in Michigan. Very soon, it expanded to include Indiana and Ohio, our tri-state neighbors.  It didn't take long to realize that there should be Angels in every state in the country.  At this point, they were going to nursing homes, children's hospitals, hospices, veterans homes, Ronald McDonald Houses, and other facilities caring for people who were having challenging experiences.  We also send dog and cat Angels of Hope to animal shelters caring for so many lost, abandoned and/or abused animals across the country. We have received thank you notes from many facilities that received Angels of Hope, saying what a difference the Angels were making, and how much they were appreciated.
In May of 2011, we began to send the USA Angels primarily to areas experiencing natural disasters.  After the Sandy Hook shootings in Dec. 2012, we started sending Angels to areas with man-made disasters as well, often accompanied with mini cards with pictures of Angels on the front and  on the back, their message, "Do not be afraid. You are not alone."  Through it all, this message and the entire purpose of Angels of Hope have remained the same, bringing hope to those who most need it, in a tangible form they can recognize and embrace, and know they are cared for, and are truly not alone.
There is at least one Angel of Hope in every state, as well as in the District of Columbia. We also have many more U.S. placements in children's hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses and other facilities that serve children.  You will find them under Children's Hospital Placements.
